Improve voice guidance quality by downloading Premium or Enhanced voices directly from your iPhone settings.
By default, iOS uses compact voices with basic quality. For a more natural and pleasant voice guidance experience in Vroom GPS, you can download higher-quality voices (Enhanced or Premium) for free from your iPhone settings.
On your iPhone, open the Settings app and tap Accessibility.
Under the Vision section, tap Read & Speak.
Tap Voices to see the list of available languages.
Select the language you use in Vroom GPS (for example French, English, German, or Spanish).
Tap Voice to see all available voices for that language.
Choose a voice labeled Enhanced or Premium and tap the download button (cloud icon). The download may take a few minutes depending on your connection.
Tip: Premium voices offer the best quality. Enhanced voices are a good balance between quality and file size.
Go back to Vroom GPS, open the Voice Guidance settings. The new voice will appear in the list. Select it and test it!
