Gorges and Three Lakes Express

The starting point of your scenic motorcycle adventure, nestled on the eastern shore of Lake Iseo.

Experience one of Italy's most beautiful roads, a narrow, old coastal route literally 'on the water's edge' between Vello and Toline, offering stunning views of Lake Iseo. It's a fantastic alternative to the tunnel.

Head inland towards Vobarno to avoid lowland traffic, where the first serious curves begin in the picturesque Val Sabbia, offering an exciting riding experience.

Stop at the historic Rocca d'Anfo fortress overlooking Lake Idro. It's the perfect spot for a quick photo and a coffee break with a stunning lake view.

Turn right after Lake Idro to enter Capovalle and the Valvestino area. This 'timeless bubble' offers perfect curves, excellent asphalt, and leads to the spectacular Valvestino Dam, a hidden gem for riders.

The Valvestino road brings you directly to the Gardesana coastal road in Gargnano. Enjoy the dramatic climate shift and the expansive panorama opening up to the deep blue of Lake Garda.

Ride a few kilometers north on the Gardesana to 'Porto di Tremosine'. Turn left here to enter the legendary Strada della Forra – a road carved into the mountain with narrow tunnels and sheer rock faces, a true motorcyclist's dream.

Stop in Pieve to admire the breathtaking panorama from the 'Terrazza del Brivido' (Terrace of Thrills). It is arguably the most iconic viewpoint in Northern Italy for a motorcyclist, offering sheer cliff drops and expansive lake views.

Descend from Pieve towards Limone sul Garda, a charming town known for its lemon groves, marking the northernmost point of your Lake Garda ride before heading south.

Continue south along the beautiful Gardesana road to Salò, a elegant town on the western shore of Lake Garda, known for its historic center and promenade.

Concluding your loop, return to Pisogne, completing the 'Gorges and Three Lakes Express' with memories of stunning landscapes and exhilarating rides.
