The Biosphere of Entlebuch has been officially recognized by the UNESCO as a heritage site. If you drive through it, you will find out why. The georgeous landscape invites your eyes to wander.

Entlibuech is a georgeous little village with a agricultural heritage.

The Glaubenberg connects the Entlebuch, in Lucerne, with Sarnen, in Nidwalden. It is a georgeous mountain Pass that offers a stunning view onto the Lake Sarnen below.

Lungern is a small village at the picturesque Lake Lungern. I recommend having a break here to enjoy the view as you'll be driving mountain-passes the next few hours.

You are now in Wallis. Take a break here as you'll be driving a long time again after here.

This is the Nufenen-Pass. Congrats, you are now officially entering the italian speaking Canton of Ticino.

You are approaching Airolo. In Airolo you can either follow the Tour along the country-roads or you can hop onto the Autobahn to Bellinzona and continue the drive there. I personally use the Autobahn, but I am a local and drive this tour regularly, so you might choose the country roads.

Welcome to Bellinzona, the Capital of the canton of Ticino. Take a break here and enjoy the ticino flare. I personally recommend getting a Hotel in Locarno as the view and location are much better, but you can also get one here, if you prefer.

This street has a phenomenal ticino flare. It's tight, nestled between the mountain and the lake and the houses and gardens have this irresistable flare. Take it slow and enjoy the view.

You are entering Italy. Fantastic view, lovely culture, awful drivers and the police really doesn't care what you do.

You are entering Domodossola. I recommend you buy some food and drinks to eat on top of the Simplonpass.
